Healthy Sweet Snacks Lose Weight.
There is a vast amount of sweet healthy snacks out there for us to enjoy as well as helping us lose weight, A lot of people have a sweet tooth like myself who love sweet things but also want to lose weight and find it hard to cut those cravings out of our lifestyle chocolate is a big one for me as I love a bit of chocolate sitting in front of the TV of a night time but that has never helped me lose weight it has just helped me gain even more.
I’m going to give you some insight on what sweet snacks that are good for us and that give us that sweet tooth satisfaction as I know many people out there struggle to find ways to cut the sugary stuff out and replace them for something healthy for our bodies and that help us lose weight.
I know fruit is a simple but effective snack that I like to eat, My favourite fruit is grapes because they taste good there juicy and I enjoy the sweet snack. Grapes are a part of the berry family and they are good for us because they contain polyphenols, this is a word most of you might not of heard of but need to educate yourself on as it is an antioxidant that fights free radicals in our body.
Free radicals are toxic by-product’s of the oxygen metabolism that causes a great deal of damage to our cells and tissue structure.
It is important we have polyphenol in our system so our cells stay intact and our tissue stays strong. Grapes are just a drop in the ocean though, there are many more fruit’s that each play a different part in keeping us healthy and fit. Each different fruit has its own benefit which helps our body, immune system our metabolism and every other system in our body to keep our bodies running smoothly and healthy.
The idea of eating fruit as a sweet snacks that it gives you high energy few calories and fills you up so you not hungry. My personal affairs aside I know that grapefruit is one of the best out of the fruit family to eat because its high water content fills you up for longer while it has less than 100 calories in it. it would take more energy to eat the grapefruit than the calories actually in it.
Granola is good healthy snack that is sweet and tasty and also very beneficial for us, it is normally eaten as a cereal with milk of a morning time but is also great for a sweet snack throughout the day.
Helping us for a whole list of things like helps with weight loss, digestion system, keeps cholesterol levels down, healthy pregnancy, heal migraines, source of vegan protein, healthy skin, manages blood pressure and helps treat anaemia. Like I said a whole list of beneficial.
Granola contains nuts, honey and oats and is normally combined with a mix of fruit as well. Granola is quick fun and easy to make you just mix the ingredients together shape it then bakes till gold and crispy I will leave my favourite recipe down below but there are plenty other recipes out there to try.
